Investigating the formation of Supermassive Blackholes

New detection methods such as LISA(Laser Interferometer Space Antenna) and Pulsar Timing Array(PTA) will make the detection of Gravitational Waves(GW) of longer wavelengths more accessible. To study the properties of these SMBHs, we examined the causes of the formation of SMBHs in the simulation Illustris-TNG 300. We discovered various properties of Black Holes(BH) that lead to the formation of an SMBH such as the number of mergers, galaxy size, gas accretion, and age of black holes. Apart from finding that these properties are essential for the formation of BH, we also found some missing data discrepancies in publicly available Illustris-TNG 300 simulation
