Product vs. Process: Self Care
“Product vs. Process: Self-Care” was made with contrasting materials to discuss the different approaches one might take to take care of themselves physically, mentally, and spiritually. “Product” portrays the immediate satisfaction gained through self-care products today, challenging the belief that money can buy peace. “Process” was made with assorted cleaning products, as to represent the idea of “cleaning up your life”, and takes a more muted, minimal approach visually. Both pieces take the form of a one-piece corset, a piece of clothing commonly advertised as an easy and quick way to feel sexy, clean, desirable, and relaxed.
