Moor: A Percussive Soundscape

Moor is a composition for a large percussion ensemble which showcases the myriad of instruments in both traditional and unconventional ways. The idea for Moor came during a time of personal ordeal and evokes the stillness and desolate expanses of the Scottish moorlands. This presentation will explain the process in which the composition is created, and will be followed by a five minute excerpt of the composition.
