Chad Verdier*, Jordan Dorsey, Hannah R. Higbie, and Haley Mills
Dr. Brandy Schneider and Prof. Jana Arabas, Faculty Mentors

Purpose: This study examined ROTC student life-saving CPR skills compared to the CPR skills of the ROTC staff.

Subjects: Five ROTC cadre and twenty-nine ROTC cadets participated in the study and completed a short survey.

Methods: The subjects completed a two minute CPR skills test.

Results: There was a statistical difference between the subjects and their confidence level (t=0.00000006674473491). There also was a statistical difference between subjects and the number of skill errors (t=0.01445495933).

Conclusion: Our data showed that cadre performed worse than cadets when it came to the amount of skill errors.
