Horn in Metal Music

The role of the French horn has traditionally been limited to orchestras, wind bands, or standard chamber ensembles. In this presentation, however, we will explore how the horn has interacted with popular music (especially rock) in the recent past then discuss and perform a newly composed work for horn and rock band written in a metal style.
