Oddities of Missouri Mammals
Museum displays can play an active role in education, especially when placed in public spaces. The natural history exhibit I placed in Marauder Hall aims to educate the public about the oddities of species native to Missouri. The planning of the display required research across multiple disciplines, the majority being in biology, history, and geography. Setting up the exhibit took on a more artistic approach, focusing on the visual appeal of the display. In the display, information on opossums, bats, and northern short-tailed shrews can be viewed.
