Degree in which News Articles are Read In-Full
Today with the vast amount of information that can be accessed and processed quickly through social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter, it is easy for people to form opinions on current matters and events. Many news outlets create titles that are aimed to entice readership, but don’t necessarily represent the content of the article. The goal of the study to discover college student’s habits when reading through news articles. This study will simulate a Facebook timeline with news articles from various sources and then students will be asked to answer simple questions about the articles aimed to gauge the degree in which the articles were read.
