The Gender Inequality in Education by the Statistics

Josh M. Thomas
Dr. Hena Ahmad, Faculty Mentor

The lack of equality in education systems across the globe is an epidemic dating back to beginning of humankind. The United Nations has done countless studies of the contrasts in male and female education rates and they’ve concluded the differences hurt lives. They have concluded societies and social norms in multiple countries deprive women of a basic education. The massive gap in literacy between men and women is shrinking but is still very obvious. It is detrimental not only to the lives of women, but the lives of men as well. If we as mankind come together and make a push toward equal education for both genders across the world, we can help create a better future for everyone on the planet.
