The proposal introduces Tru Wash, a Smart Laundry Monitoring System aimed at optimizing washer and dryer usage in communal spaces. It employs Vibration sensors integrated with Arduino and IoT technology to provide real-time status updates about the availabilty of a washer or dryer via a mobile app. The system's objectives include reducing wait times, improving accessibility, and enhancing resource efficiency. Development stages encompass basic app creation, feature expansion, circuitry setup and app testing. Key features include a user-friendly interface, timely notifications, and potential social engagement elements like a "Lost and Found" group chat. Tru Wash seeks to revolutionize laundry room management, offering convenience and efficiency to users.
