Hyperfocus — Out of Focus

Wesley Scafe
Dr. Heidi Cook, Faculty Mentor

Since being diagnosed with ADHD two years ago, I’ve spent a significant amount of time analyzing the way I think. Through cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), I’ve gained an understanding of how these thought patterns influence my personality, the way I interact with people, and the ways I am productive. Switching between states of hyperfocus and inattention defines how I interact with the world and these photographs are meant to capture my personal interpretation of how these feel.
