Following a cardiac trauma, patients undergo a 12-week cardiac rehab program. This program is called phase II cardiac rehab. Patients were tested pre and post phase II rehab using identical questionnaires. The questionnaires were SMv12 questionnaires, and were designed to test patients’ perceived physical and mental states. Preliminary data (n = 32) indicates trends towards significance for final data. Mean scores for perceived mental state improved from 46.10 to 52.46. Mean scores for perceived physical states improved from 38.54 to 47.09.
