Living With Schizoaffective Disorder

This presentation is a case study portraying the lived experience of mental illness. The assignment was to meet with a client over a period of six weeks to plan desired outcomes and interventions from the North American Nursing diagnosis Association, the Nursing Outcomees Classifications taxonomy, and the Nursing Intervention Classification taxonomy. Storytelling was used to describe the nurse-client relationship and the priority needs of the patient. The main caring theme utilized in this case presentation was assessing the needs of the client and learning to tend to their main concerns.
