My research paper is going to be based on a brief history of how blues music migrated from Africa and made its way throughout America. I will be talking about some important historical events that flourished blues music, and also talk about those legendary figures who planted the seed of American blues music. My primary focus in this research paper will be to talk about the greatest transition that took place in the history of blues music that is from a simple acoustic version to a louder electric version that changed the texture of the old fashioned blues. My area of concentration is going to be Chicago. Here I will present some important events that took place which made blues so popular among the American people. Also my research would focus on few of those important people who helped to flourish the Chicago Blues. Towards the end of my paper I will discuss about how Chicago blues stands today and how have it influenced the people in the 21st century.
