The Effects of Music Therapy on Individuals with Parkinson's Disease

The music therapy field has been growing for decades because of how effective it is at treating many different kinds of dementias, disabilities, and other limitations. This presentation will show how music therapy can benefit indivudals with Parkinson's Disease. While pointing out general facts about Parkinson's Disease and music therapy, the presentation will provide live examples of music therapy interventions that target goals such as movement and speech.
