A nurturing home environment and positive role models from both parents play a crucial role in fostering prosocial behaviors in children. Parents influence their children's social development through their interactions, direction, and the stability they provide. This study, based on a survey of 94 participants from a rural county, examines how key parental factors—income, marital status, and family structure—shape children's ability to interact with others, develop compassion, and build significant relationships. Financial stability might provide greater access to resources that support social development, while family structure and marital status can influence emotional security and social learning. By understanding these influences, this research emphasizes the importance of a supportive home environment in fostering positive social behaviors. By analyzing these factors, this study aims to offer insights into how parental circumstances contribute to children's social well-being and long-term relational success.
