KCACTF National Stage Management Fellowship Submission - The Rocky Horror Show Stage Management Binder
The KCACTF National Stage Management Fellowship is created to recognize innovation in design, technology, and management in the technical theatre field. A team of professional stage managers and theatre respondents review and respond to the work of stage managers from across the region. This opens up opportunities for national recognitions and awards. One participant from this is chosen to present at the national festival and compete. I prepared a binder from working on Truman's production of The Rocky Horror Show as the stage manager. The binder contains a multitude of different paperwork created throughout the process. The paperwork covers safety information, tracking of props and scene changes, and reports sent to the designers after every rehearsal. The binder contains everything needed to run rehearsals, tech week, and the production itself. This binder showcases an entire position in theatre that allows shows to run safely and smoothly.
