The Future of Financial Education: Harnessing Generative AI for Personalized Learning Pathways
Generative AI has the potential to enhance educational experiences by addressing individual learning gaps, particularly in financial literacy. Previous research has demonstrated that updates to Generative AI produce new developments that have made the systems more reliable and correct when outputting information. Additionally, studies suggest that gaps in individual education have the ability to be minimized by the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) into learning systems. When studying the enhancement of AI in the education field, previous studies have focused on its impact for educators rather than the ways AI impacts and enhances individual learning for students. This study proposes to design and test a financial literacy program enhanced by AI to make content more applicable to individual students’ lives. Analysis of study results will aim to provide insights into how generative AI can positively influence individual learning in financial literacy, with potential applications for high school educators.
