My Routine Pathways
This photography project is about the motion and routine of my daily life at Truman. I always feel like I’m rushing between classes and jobs and homework. Yet, I find consistency in my routine- from the places I go or in the things that I see everyday. My photos are sequenced and use visual repetition in a way that shows the long-term passing of time and consistent routine of my day-to-day. The repetition of locations and specific visual components also resemble the comfort and occasional awe that I find in my daily path. However, in these photographs I often feature objects in blurred motion as reminders of the constant state of rush around me.
