Some farmers think cats do a better job on rodent patrol if they don't get fed. My husband and I don't agree; we may be softies, but our barn kitties get chow. Hilariously, no matter the weather, as soon as Randy starts moving towards the barn, the kitties come running from all over to escort him to the feed room. This piece is about hard work, home, and love.
