Megan E. Grossman* and Monica P. Bates
Dr. Nancy Daley-Moore, Faculty Mentor

Health screenings are important to an individual's well-being. By having access to women’s health screenings, women can find benefits for daily living and prevention for the future. Screenings can help prevent early death and avoid high costs associated with healthcare. Women’s health screenings can include vaginal infection screening, sexual health, nutritional screening, mental health, dental health, eye screenings, and heart health. The purpose of this project is to test knowledge of women’s health screenings among participants at Truman State University. This program will involve delivering a presentation about the screening services available at Truman State University, and program participants will complete surveys before and after program implementation to evaluate their knowledge about screenings on campus. This presentation will discuss the evaluation results of our presentation. Limitations of the study include survey-taking fatigue and slight variation of answers.
