How the Catholic Church Influences Views of Homosexuality Among its Members

Individual's viewpoints and opinions are greatly influenced by their surroundings and experiences. Often what influences viewpoints and opinions changes over time. It is important for counselors to be aware of possible external factors that affect a clients perception on any issue. This study examines the doctrine of the Catholic Church regarding homosexuality, how it is understood and/or accepted by members, and finally how it influences members viewpoints and opinions on the topic. Results of this study are pending.
