On Walking
Lauren Rosenfield♦
Dr. Alanna Preussner, Faculty Mentor

Walking is not only a form of exercise, a mode of transportation, and a way to pass the time, but also a reflective way of thinking that I use every day. My project is a creative non-fiction essay about walking. It includes influential epiphanies from writers like Henry David Thoreau, Colin Fletcher, and Edward Abbey to better illustrate the thoughts and feelings I experience while walking.
