Study of Landscapes Through Printmaking
Nicholas G. Kromnacker
Prof. Jim Jereb, Faculty Mentor

Through the medium of printmaking I am seeking to understand how i react and view local settings and landscapes which surround me. Through the creation of 2-3 large scale prints combining multiple screens and processes, I plan on creating pieces which explore my eye and minds reaction to places i live and visit. Prints will be a combination of my eyes response to the world around me through photography, digital media as well as hand drawn process which all brought together in the final form of the finished print. Each print will be framed and matted by myself to further bring together feel of a complete and finished work that's completed solely by the artist. I feel the frame and presentation of the art is as important as the contained work.
