L'accès aux Services Médicaux en France et aux Etats Unis

Sabrina R. Wiser
Dr. Audrey Viguier, Faculty Mentor

This study will address access to healthcare services for individuals in France as well as America. Healthcare systems all over the world evolve continually, but the most current healthcare systems in the aforementioned countries are “La Couverture Maladie Universelle” (CMU) in France and “Obamacare” in America. The two systems are vastly different, as CMU is a universal healthcare system whereas America’s is privately run. Both healthcare systems inherently have both positive and negative facets, some of which will be explained and analyzed. Factors that will be considered include the cost of healthcare for individuals, how impoverished individuals are affected by the costs of healthcare, and the general opinion of healthcare of the citizens of each country.
