Synthesis of Organosulfate Esters

Organosulfate esters, which are pollutants, have recently been found to be present in the atmosphere. The syntheses of 3-methylbutan-2,3-diol sulfate was attempted. This lab-created compounds are intended to aid in the identification and quantification of organosulfates in the atmosphere.
