Disability vs. Insurance: An Observation of the Correlation Between Insurance Coverage and Disability Cases
Alison G. Millington
Dr. Hena Ahmad, Faculty Mentor

Insurance companies do not insure! When a case seems like too much money in medical bills, insurance corporations deny the individual's request to be supported. When my sister, after a car accident, required extensive care and therapy, her insurance company found a way to take back their promise to my sister to support her, despite her monthly payments. The purpose of this paper is to highlight the endemic denial of legitimate claims and the impact this has on unfortunate, affected individuals with insurance denials.
