Partnership with BEMM: Providing Resources for Underdeveloped Regions of Africa

Because Every Mother Matters (BEMM), a nonprofit organization working with women in underdeveloped regions of Africa, raises funds to provide health resources and small business grants. We partnered with BEMM to create a marketing plan for the organizations Tacky for Africa accessory line and mother sponsorship program: o Our plan fostered contacts with businesses and organizations o We established a Facebook online ordering system o We created advertising materials for the products. We are working with Burmese refugees who produce the accessory line to teach them business practices: o We are assisting them in setting up an Etsy account to achieve independent sales. We will teach BEMM staff and the Burmese refugees skills to maintain sustainable business practices: o Financial management o Accounting practices o Management practices.
