Ear-piercing, living with re-married parents, dealing with death in the family, learning to juggle, and handling airport security: eleven readers will present a kaleidoscope of memoir and biographical sketches framed by history, produced in an independent and collaborative writing workshop. In their creative nonfiction, the dimensions of life experiences will be supplemented by the writers references to social and historical circumstances or events beyond the intimate lives of their subjects.
