Modified Littrow Configuration External Cavity Diode Laser With Tunable Fixed Output Beam
Nirjal Sapkota
Dr. Michael Goggin, Faculty Mentor

In the original Littrow configuration external cavity diode laser, the output beam when reflected from the mirror moves as the laser wavelength is tuned. We modified the Littrow configuration so that the rotation of both the diffraction grating and mirror leaves the direction of output beam fixed Thus tuning of the laser can be done over a range without changing the arrangement of laser diode, diffraction grating and mirror.
