Tibetan Nomads: Assessing the Disturbances in the Lifestyle of the Tibetan Nomads; Its Impact on the Ecosystem of Tibetans and Vice Versa

Tibet is known as the third pole of the world. South of China, Tibet consists of wide high Himalayan ranges. Preserved for many years as one of the few places unexploited by men for capitalist purposes, today, it no longer exhibits that position. Many are unaware of how significant this change is and the impact it can have on the entire ecosystem if Tibet's environment is further degraded. This paper focuses the interrelation between the Tibetan Nomads and their ecosystem. Similarly, it looks at the impacts that the recent policies installed by the Ministry of Agriculture of China has on the nomads and their way of living as a whole. This culture has remained oblivious to many but could hold great importance in the global arena which is what led me to explore this issue further.
