In May of 2005, 24 students and two faculty members travelled to Greece for three weeks as a Study Abroad course. The course was Sacred Sites in Greece, led by Drs. Reschly and Rose. The main objectives of the course were to explore both modern and ancient Greece and to learn about a number of sacred sites throughout the country. The students also learned about and engaged in a culture and society very different from their own. This presentation is a brief synopsis of the trip, filled with photographs. It outlines the major aspects of the trip including the historical significance of many sites the class visited as well as other aspects of the general study abroad experience.
