Is it Really a Big Deal? Truman Students' Opinons on Interracial Dating

This study examines the opinions of Truman Students in regards to interracial dating and perceived racial stereotypes in the United States. During October of 2016, a pen and paper survey was distributed to 160 students who were randomly selected to participate in the study. Data reflects that while students overall don't mind the idea of interracial dating, those who were opposed to interracial dating have more negative perceptions of members outside of their race. Likewise students who supported interracial dating have more positive perceptions of members outside of their race.
