This paper attempts to answer the following questions about the ancient city of Delphi. How did the Ancient Greeks look at the city of Delphi? Was the city of Delphi viewed differently than other city-states by the Greeks? How did actions taken at Delphi influence the rest of the Greek world? Did the rest of the Greek world use Delphi as a forum for political bragging?
