                                              Abstract

This present study investigates the effects of mental health deterioration at the elementary school age. I will be examining why mental health is deteriorating at an earlier age and how it affects students’ academic performance. Mental health is affected by depression, anxiety, loneliness, a poor home life, and lack of support at home and school. The effects of mental health deterioration have constructed an issue that needs to be addressed especially at a younger age, and this study will focus on the cause, effect, and possible ways to address the problem for the future.
