Enhancing Interactivity in Web Design
Stephan van Ginhoven
Ms. Daryl Fazio, Faculty Mentor

In web design, the goal is to make users increasingly engaged in the online experience. Such a goal can be accomplished with the use of animation and user-friendly interfaces that enhance website interactivity. This independent project is based on the creation of multiple alternatives that could offer an appealing degree of interactivity to any website. Numerous approaches are followed, from the reliance on simple animation techniques to the complexity of users’ actions required for navigational purposes. The study consists of websites created throughout the semester. These are defined by the nature of the businesses they represent and therefore take distinct paths for creating a complete, suitable online experience.
