Mathematical Modeling in Baseball: Cardinals v Cubs

Using Markov chains, I plan to create a model that would simulate events in baseball and predict the outcome of a game between the Cardinals and the Cubs in the upcoming 2006 season using statistics over the past three seasons from team starters.
