Built to test the durability and longevity of both earth bags and cob (a mixture of clay, sand and straw) construction, TruHut consists of a wooden frame, tin roof, and earth bag and cob walls. This project was inspired by similar building projects in Northeast Missouri and its aim is to teach and inspire students to utilize local materials and to create sturdy, long lasting, and affordable structures.
