The Life of A International Student: A Look Into Experiences of International Students
Andrew S. Milhous
Dr. Huping Ling, Faculty Mentor

The goal of my research is to explore the challenges of international students, specifically those from Asian countries, here on Truman's campus. Some of the issues that I hope to explore are language barriers, adjustment to cultures, adjustment to education systems, and how these challenges are overcome. This research will be supported by interviews done by myself, as well as scholarly work on the issue. I hope to put this information in a larger context and explore the current situation of international students. As well as to show how the situation has evolved throughout history.
