Kirksville Burglary Prevention Program

This applied research study looks at the effectiveness of the Kirksville Police Department's Burglary Prevention Program. It was a program started in 2012 in reaction to an influx in burglaries in Kirksville's hotspot area in 2011. This research project draws upon data provided by the KPD and is used to track, plot, and analyze the changing rates of burglaries pre- and post-implementation of the program.
