The purpose of this study is to further explore the causes of discomfort for certain viewers during 3D films. We did so by manipulating the viewers point of focus with intended action when presented with 3D images. We examined points that would and would not normally be on the horopter. In developing a better understanding of the viewers experience during 3D movies, we then postulate future solutions to viewer discomfort during 3D films.
