Photo Manipulation
Kristine Campbell
Prof. Priya S. Kambli, Faculty Mentor

The body of work I am creating consists of surreal landscapes. I am intrigued by surreal imagery because it allows me to be free from the constraints of logic and the conscious mind. I can make dream-like states that cannot be produced within our reality the way we see it. Through these images I am able to produce my own reality. The images are created by manipulating photographs that a camera alone cannot always render. These manipulated images are constructed using Photoshop to produce new scenes and contexts through the use of layering and editing of multiple photographs.
