The goal of this project was to determine weather purchasing Verizon stock would be beneficial for BSIF's (Bulldog Student Investment Fund) portfolio. Using multiple analyses and tests such as Porter's five forces and a comparison of Verizon's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, the research team determined that Verizon was a company that had potential for investment. After this initial research our team then proceeded to use a computer algorithm to determine how well Verizon stock would work with other stocks in the portfolio. We finally concluded that Verizon was indeed beneficial for BSIF's stock portfolio.
