Victoria R. Spain*, Oliver P. Dubois, Jacob A. Loesche, Conner E. Madden, Shannon M. Lynch, Joshua D. Simons, Brendan M. Cirillo, and Derek G. Bischof
Prof. Sal Costa, Faculty Mentor

Our project aims at examining how empathic embarrassment relates to grading, demographics, and virtual settings. Participants will watch a live or recorded speech then score the speech, give emotional reactions, and provide demographic information. We expect greater empathy in demographically similar situations and through live interactions.
