2020 for Brass Choir and Percussion: An Original Composition

2020 for Brass Choir and Percussion is an original composition by the presenter that was written with the specific strengths of the different brass instruments in mind. This presentation will focus on the first movement, “A Fanfare for a New Year,” including a discussion of the ideas behind the melody and accompaniment figures in the brass, as well as an explanation of how they were scored with the strengths of each instrument in mind.
