Direct feedback on performance of a physical activity can affect a student's perception of an activity or sport. African-American fifth-grade males were surveyed to identify the effect positive direct feedback has on their perceptions of an unfamiliar activity or sport. An independent t-test will be conducted to compare pre-test and post-test data. In addition, frequencies of direct feedback for each student will be reported.
